Gary Leonard Oldman

Finally got the chance to actually sit down and enjoy the film again. I was still so blown away by the acting I almost couldn't handle it. I can honestly thank Gary and his supberb acting for getting me into the older Smiley stuff, half of which are in my movie queue as well as the novels. I still feel so horrible for poor George. Some of the most heart wrenching scenes are when George is seen doing the normal day to day thing and then as movie progresses you see him up to his eyeballs in it trying to figure out exactly who he can and cannot trust. No one's there for him, he's truly alone. This is the second time I've gone through the movie and just wanted to hug the poor man and ask him how he's holding up. Sorry for the gushing but I had to.
